Matchless ~ by Aaron Shust

Son of a Man, Great I Am,
King of heaven, son of God,
You hold the measure of my days
Holy Lamb, Spotless Lamb,
You are worthy, I am not
Before your throne I stand amazed
Every tongue confess and every knee will bow
To Jesus Christ the Lord forever, hear our praises now

(Chorus)
Your name is matchless,
Your name is priceless
Your name means more than I could know
You're so far above me,
The way that you love me
Goes further than any love could go

Wonderful Counselor,
Root of David, morning star
You are the way, the truth, the life
Lion of the tribe of Judah,
Mighty God is who You are
The only perfect sacrifice

In your name You took the blind man
And you gave him back his sight
In your name you took the dead man
And you brought him back to life
In your name you took this prisoner
And you opened up the doors

And I will sing before your throne forever more
(Chorus)

Hard Workin' Gals

Today I spent from 3:30-8:45p.m. working on the farmhouse!
Jeannie was there for part of the time, and Alyssa was there the whole time. :) We had a really great day together, and the house is looking so much more liveable!
Here's a basic list of things we worked on:

- filling nail holes
- washing kitchen cupboards
- cleaning kitchen counters
- scrubbing/scraping the kitchen sink (go Alyssa! it was dreadful.)
- sweeping the upstairs and staircase
- staining the closet doors in my room
- hanging wallpaper in the bathroom
- measuring windows for blinds

- listening to our favorite radio stations
- girl talk
- cracking up at ourselves
- running back and forth in the snow to Jeannie and Papa's house for supplies

It was a marvelous day!
You know something? The Lord likes for us to have fun with our work.
Blessings in His precious name,
ashley lou

It's the Weekend.

First official week of my life working full-time ~ over.
Wow... it was really something! I'm pretty exhausted, physically as well as emotionally.
But my Jesus is so good, all the time! It was a blessed week; I am very grateful.
Love to you all,
ash

It's Your Life

Album: My Paper Heart
Artist: Francesca Battistelli

This is the moment
It’s on the line
Which way you gonna fall?
In the middle between
Wrong and right
But you know after all

(Chorus)
It’s your life
What you gonna do?
The world is watching you
Every day the choices you make
Say what you are and who
Your heart beats for
It’s an open door
It’s your life

Are you who you always said you would be?
With a sinking feeling in your chest
Always waiting for someone else to fix you
Tell me when did you forget

(Chorus)

To live the way that you believe
This is your opportunity
To let your life be one that lights the way

(Chorus)

It Was a Monday

For those of you who have not yet heard, I am now working full-time at the flower shop in Rolla. This is very exciting for me, and I really love what I do! God is so good.
Today was extremely busy, but it was nice. We are getting ready for Valentine's Day (when you're in the decorating/floral design business, being prepared for holidays is a must!), as well as taking full inventory of the shop in prep. for moving to Benton Square. More on that later. :)
There is much to be done...
... life is busy.
The Lord is good, all the time.
In Him,
ashley

house update

Well, the farmhouse is coming right along, and we're definitely planning to move in by the 30th of this month!! Alyssa and I are terribly excited, and Jeannie and Papa are having fun planning with us as well. :)
There are two rooms left to carpet, and the bathroom needs to be wallpapered before the sink is installed. And... the room I'm most excited about!...
The upstairs is going to be my room (which is actually two little rooms, seperated by a door), and I have been given the choice as to how the floor is to be finished up there! The original wood floor that Jeannie knew as a little girl is still there, and in pretty good condition. My plan is to find some floor-paint in a nice rustic green, and paint over the floorboards. But first the entire upstairs needs to be scrubbed down and the chimney needs to be patched up a bit.
I am going to be working in the house sometime after work this week, and I'm planning to take "before" pictures then. Sorry I haven't gotten anything up sooner! Life has been busy.
I know I am very behind in picture posting, but hopefully I can make up for it soon!
Blessings to you all in our loving Savior,
ashley louise
