Well, the farmhouse is coming right along, and we're definitely planning to move in by the 30th of this month!! Alyssa and I are terribly excited, and Jeannie and Papa are having fun planning with us as well. :)There are two rooms left to carpet, and the bathroom needs to be wallpapered before the sink is installed. And... the room I'm most excited about!...
The upstairs is going to be my room (which is actually two little rooms, seperated by a door), and I have been given the choice as to how the floor is to be finished up there! The original wood floor that Jeannie knew as a little girl is still there, and in pretty good condition. My plan is to find some floor-paint in a nice rustic green, and paint over the floorboards. But first the entire upstairs needs to be scrubbed down and the chimney needs to be patched up a bit.
I am going to be working in the house sometime after work this week, and I'm planning to take "before" pictures then. Sorry I haven't gotten anything up sooner! Life has been busy.
I know I am very behind in picture posting, but hopefully I can make up for it soon!

Ok thanks for the update .... Ally comments rustic green???? what is wrong with wood? and we all can't wait to see pictures :) dont work too hard -- take time to rest too!!! love the Q girls + one H :)
yes, either green or vintage blue. i do love the wood, but the rooms have slanted ceilings, so the entire rest of the upstairs is wood! it makes it kinda dark and sad. :( so i want to liven it up with color!
